Let It Ride Horses

Hi there, and welcome to
Diamond JR Ranch, home of Let It
Ride Horses.
My name is Rachael Aquarian
and I have been a horse enthusiast for...well, it seems like forever. I
started riding at age eight and my mother bought me my first horse when I
turned ten. For the next eight years I took riding lessons from a wonderful
local woman who was a certified trainer. It was a great experience in that I
learned how to achieve my goals as a rider and about the possibilities of
becoming a jumper. For well over a decade now, I have been showing and
competing in a number of different levels and styles....English hunter under
saddle, equitation, jumper/hunter, Western pleasure and showmanship. I've
got a wall full of ribbons, and I have had a lot of fun. Along the way I
have participated in numerous classes with well-known clinicians and for the
last five years I worked with Richard Shrake.
Over the years I have acquired a number of different horse breeds from paint
show horses to warmblood jumpers and Welsh ponies. I have started a breeding
facility with my stock which has begun to produce some beautiful foals for
sale and suitable for riders in a number of disciplines. This past year I
completed a certified artificial insemination course, and I plan to acquire
more education in that field. My goal, at present, is to establish some
solid foundation breeds.
My breeding and boarding facility is located on two thousand acres in the
beautiful hills and mountains of Northern California. It consists of a
10-stall boarding facility with three 20 x 20 lighted foaling areas with
camera systems. We also have a 100 x 200 outside arena, a 70' round pen, a
four-horse walker, and a treadmill.
Along with my
wonderful husband and two lovely daughters, we run a totally grass-fed Black
Angus cattle program. Our cattle are sold to local markets and the beef is
beginning to generate a following of faithful customers.
Though raising two daughters takes more than a little of my time, my passion
remains showing my horses. Now it is my turn to be the
"wonderful local woman" who can introduce young aspiring riders to the joys
of horse ownership and competitive showmanship. The smiles on those young
faces makes it all worthwhile.
Thanks so much for reading this and for visiting my place on the Web.
