WINDSHIP LANE
1990 Bay Oldenburg Warmblood
Lane's history has been championships at mini prix
level 1 and 2 and started competing at grand prix level. She has done
some dressage but mostly English pleasure, hunter under saddle, and
equitation. She is 16.2 hands, solid bone, big body and correct. She
is a confidence builder for a beginner to intermediate jumper.
Recently used as a broodmare as she has reached her 16th birthday and
produced a beautiful, big colt. REGISTER NUMBER 33-10356-90
Lane's sire First Class is an Oldenburg stallion
who was born and bred in Germany. His father is the famous stallion
Furioso II, who sired many approved stallion sons and daughters. The
dam of First Class is Chinchilla, a champion mare for all of Germany
who is considered by many to be the most famous and prized mares in
the Oldenburg breed. First Class has many accomplishments, but two of
his most famous are the Bundeschampionship, the championship of all
the young riding horses in Germany that he won as a 4 year old, and
the Five Star ranking he earned in 1997. The rank of a Five Star
stallion is difficult to obtain and has been reached by only a few of
the stallions in the Oldenburg stud book. Fist class has consistently
been one of the top producing stallions in the ISR/Oldenburg registry
and has been bred successfully to many different types of mares. His
foals are exceptional movers with wonderful temperaments and highly
trainable.
Lane's grandsire Furioso II is one of the most
influential sires in the sport horse history. His offspring have
performed well in all disciplines of show jumping, including at the
Barcelona and Sydney Olympics. Furioso II was approved stallion for
the Oldenburg studbook in 1967, and easily won his 100 day test
performance 1968 at Wesrcelle. He was incredibly influential to the
Oldenburg breed, which used his thoroughbred bloodlines through his
sire to introduce a more modern type of sport horse without resorting
to a pure thoroughbred. Known as the "stamp stallion" because of his
offspring inherited his 'very good feet and legs, his outstanding neck
and shoulder, striking dappled chocolate chestnut coat with flaxen
tail and white markings', Furioso II was later approved for the
Hanoverian, Rhineland, and Westphalian studbooks.

GENTRY LANE
Jumper/Dressage prospect gelding
Bay Belgium Warmblood
gelding,
branded and inspected with a score of 73
Born May 31, 2006. Papers have not yet come for him as this
inspection was just two weeks ago. Gatsby is an approved stallion by
the legendary elite Hanoverian, Gonzo I. Gonzo was Americas most
requested Hanoverian stallion between 1995 1997. Gonzo completed
successfully through 4th level dressage after accomplishing an amazing
grand prix showjumping career in Europe. Gonzo was also a great
puissance horse topping 7'2" on several occasions. Gatsby stood to a
full book in 2005, he continuously produces outstanding size,
conformation, athleticism, beauty, and amazing temperaments. This
young colt gentry lane has it all, beauty, size and personality. He
amazes me everyday on his willingness to learn and responsiveness. He
is fun to work with and I'm looking forward to continue his carrier
from what his family heritage has giving him.
